This comic Kannada play is set in a simple rural hamlet. The village head Vikarappa, has very strange and leading dream. In his dream he sees that great wealth is hidden in their rustic village. The ways and means used by the villagers to gain this wealth seen by the headman and the incidents that occur to acquire the wealth which is seen in Vikarappa’s dream form the crux of the story. The play is a ridicule on real life tangible characters who tend to lose their righteousness owing to cupidity. The play completed 4 successful shows
ಇದೊಂದು ಹಾಸ್ಯಪ್ರಧಾನ ನಾಟಕವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅತಿಯಾಸೆ ಗತಿಗೇಡು ಎಂಬ ತಿರುಳು ಕಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿದೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಹಾಸ್ಯ ಸ್ವಾದದ ಮೂಲಕ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಂದೇಶ ನೀಡುವ ನಾಟಕ. ವಾಸ್ತವ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ಹಲವಾರು ಪಾತ್ರಗಳು ಹೇಗೆ ಅತಿಯಾಸೆಯಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ನೈತಿಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂಬುದೇ ನಾಟಕದ ಆಶಯ. ಒಟ್ಟು 4 ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಟಕ ಕಂಡಿದೆ
